As I don't know what is actually the motivation of the
particpants I feel uneasy to give you a valuable answer.

I do think that you probably can't do valuable work alone
with 8 participants particulary if their motivation is low.

1st solution : find someone to help you. As one of you
could do individual work the other could manage the group.

2nd solution : make them do a group work to dramatically
increase their motivation using submodalities. So they
will be able to wait and be interested when you'll do
some individual change with the *easiest* subject in
front of them. This could help to change the group's
beliefs.

Feel free to give us more information so we'll be able
to give you back more ideas.
