The major motivational factor is to avoid further judicial ramnifications
for not attending program as court mandated or required by probation/parole
officer. This offers me the opportunity to explore individual motivational
aspects to performing some behaviours.

I am the only program employee and have been able to meet the contract needs
over the years, performing assessments, individual counselling and group
programs. In Ontario we are going through program restructuring with many
government funded agencies. My past group work has been successful and thus
I am determined to help create positive change with this group and serve
this difficult client base.

The eight sessions deal with motivation, belief system evaluation, the
evaluation of there decision making strategy that was utilized at the time
they committed the offense and regarding their substance use/abuse. I like
your suggestion for the 2nd solution and would like further ideas on
increasing motivation with submodalities. If I can develop this aspect it
may allow for individual work while the group is involved in other processes.
