They are different ways to increase group motivation. I'm thinking about
our dreams, about heir dreams, about their childhood's dreams.
You can help them elicit their cherished dreams when they were children
or teens. You can help them visualize pictures of themselves accomplishing
these dreams then you can help them increase the submodalities :
- visual : add brightness, contrast, double and double again the size etc..
- auditory : add music in the picture, singers, double and double again
  the volume, the bass, etc..
- kinesthetic : help them notice where begin the feelings associated to this
  picture, where they go etc..
- olfactory : ask them whether there were any smells in their dream...

You can find a good example of this kind of group work in the beginning
of 'Time for a Change' Richard Bandler, 1993 Metapublications, as I don't
have the book with me now, I can't be more precise (sorry no isbn).

And when they will feel good, really good, just associate their feelings
to your group work as being an unique opportunity to actually begin
to experiment their dreams and to give them the substance of reality...

Be well,
