RE: anorexia and bulimia

very similar in the steps performed, as outlined in Jenni's posting.

This is true, but in addition I also maintain a semi-permeable shield at all
times (it's basically a bullshit deflector!) which is probably similiar to
Olivers. I also have permanent long-term low-maintenance wards on my car and
my house. These are protective energy fields which I anchor to the house and
car. The house one is simple, it protects the house from storm damage and
prevents anyone planning harm to me or my son from entering the house --
though I can override it. The car wards are more complex as they are
designed to prevent mechanical problems, collisions and the unwanted
attention of cops or thieves. I usually renew them quarterly at the
solstices and equinoxes. My particular magical tradition forbids me from
teaching the craft for profit, or using it to harm anyone -- therefore I
have to be very clear as to what my motives and my client's motives are
before I do any work.

This is a dangerous process and my ecology and my internal calibration skills
need to be very clear. I usually fast for a day before doing this. If there is
any doubt in my mind, I withdraw and try something else.
To perform this process, just stand comfortably and get an up-time anchor.
Notice what happens as you sway left to right and back to front, or round
about, until you have found a point of balance. Then access the negative K and
while associated start to sway gently until you can feel a point where you are
blocked from moving. As an example; if this is in front of you, sway backwards
and forwards, each time moving a little further into the blockage. At a point
you will feel ready to fall through this point. just let go and fall. Have
someone ready to catch you or fall onto a bed or something soft. I'm used to
catching myself is a pushup position and I trust my sub-conscious mind
completely. If I feel unsure I stop immidiately. This is almost like a
kinesthetic swish. I sometimes put positive resources in front of the negative
and fall through both, the negative first and the positive second.

This sounds like a fascinating process, I think I'd like to try it one
day... with the proper safety precautions of course.
Fasting is a great tool for preparation for almost any emotional work. It's
not practical from a working practitioner's perspective to fast before
seeing every client (that way lies anorexia etc!) but eating lightly
certainly helps.
Blessings to all
