Okay, here is a very important question. Have you learned anything from the
painful memories? Like maybe learn to stay away from people that allow you
to have painful experiences? Without knowing exactly what happened I
can't tell you what to do. However, from my experience I have seen lots of
people keep going back to the same or similar situation over and over and
wonder why they keep feeling pain. Maybe changing the people and
situations that you are drawn to is what would be most helpful. Many
people who cheat or abuse do it over and over and over again. Now, I can't
tell you what is best in your situation but maybe there is something you
need to learn that would be better in the long run than going back to the old
situation.
