Not that it matters much Karl but, it's Dr. Paul Scheele. I think
when a person has devoted a great deal of time and energy to
obtaining a Ph.D., we should at least recognize that they spent time
becoming knowledgeable in a subject and has earned the title.

Karl, I am not being critical of you but, your skepticism is
worth exploring on this topic. You want proof that it works. I
suggest to you that you have the proof if you look for it. Your own
inner geius will provide it when you ask and trust that you'll get an
answer.
I read a very good article which is available as a reprint on the
promotional material supplied by Learning Strategies Corporation, Dr.
Scheele's company that teaches the courses among other subjects.
I'll be happy to send you a copy if you like. Just emal me your post
address and I'll send it out.
Or, if you like, you could contact Patrick O'Neil at Learning
Strategies, 900 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata, Minnesota 55391-1836
USA. Phone (612) 475-2250 or (800) 735-8273. Fax (612) 475-2373.
I'm sure he'll send you a reprint of the article which appeared in
the Star Tribune * Page E1* Variety Section*July 1, 1996 and was
written my Paul Levy.
Now, obviously it speaks well of PhotoReading because it's used to
promote the product/training. But, the author describes his
experience with the process. He was very skeptical about the claims
and whether the skill is teachable.
What I found most interesting is the manner in which he overcame his
own skepticism with proof which he supplied himself under the
tutelage of the instructor. Now, somebody on this list (I won't
mention the name because it wasn't said on the list) told me that
taking the course was not necessary, especially for an NLP
Practitioner. Simply reading the book and practice will do it. I
believe that to be so. Although I'm not adept, I can tell some
differences in my reading/retention skills.
Ok...now to the meat. Notice, I said, I believe that to be so. I
think this is a very important part of my success. For if I doubt
the process, I won't find the proof I need to reinforce the process
and experience the success. An instructor can overcome that doubt by
providing you evidence of success. But, if I am self studying, I need to
see my own evidence of success. That means that the postive
affirmations used immediately after photoreading are extremely
important.
Thanks for reading this far
