Re: Glossolalia
During my training we did several exercises in non-verbals by speaking
only in "gibberish" - we also applied a similar approach to solving
personal difficulties - we thought about the problem and had to explain
it to a partner without using any recognised words - it was interesting
that we all seemed to find solutions within minutes to "problems" that
had been bothering us for quite long periods...
I don't know whether this can in anyway be compared with speaking in
tongues but it seems that by occupying the "verbal" part of the brain
then it allows the "creative" part to simply get on with the job....
...could it be that "tongues" is actually the language of the right side
of the brain in raw code???
I don't know! - I'm just guessing!
