Hi,
I fear some people out there has developed a serious case of
science phobia. Bandler talked about math phobia, but perhaps there
is one for just about all we learned in school.
To make it emotionally more likable one can for instance try out
switching the bad picture (e.g. the angry-looking, stinking headmaster
that wants to put you in a straight-jacket for thinking the "wrong"
thing) into a nice picture, perhaps thinking about what knowledge and
new tools (E-mail!) the scientific method has allowed us to give to
ourselves.
& you don't even have to be an atheist to use it. The example of US
science shows that pretty well. Maybe it works praying to it... :)
Cheers,
Karl
