Quantum Healing 2

OK, done it, one evening and two days of trance after trance, and
descriptions of the linkages between NLP, internal processing and the
spiritual nature of reality

once again this is a description of my subjective experience, not the
actual workshop itself

so maybe it will be a combination of my experiences in both workshops

fumbles for copious notes...

the basic principle remained that we set our intent and then asked
our unconscious mind to process in the manner that we desired

Dick Harbers led us into trance, and much REM and subjective
mythology was experienced by all,

yours truly experienced mostly kinesthetics rather than visuals,
although visuals was the rule amongst the group

the American guy got some very nice symbology, including clinging to
a coloured parachute, and yes he is in the middle of a career
change, and hadn't heard of that book

my Ks were mostly feelings, with a lot of twitches, losing sensation
in various places, and at certain times I am recalling actually there
was a lot of sexual imagery, which I'm sure says more about me than
about QH, but who can say for sure!? :)

some of the specific subject matter we covered:

- Desired Outcomes
like the well-formed outcomes, slightly re-arranged to include the
extra bits of - noticing and thanking objections and other
observations (the idea being that the acknowledgement leads to
processing); the difference between form and essence with essence
leading to getting the results you want, although not in the way you
want, and form being specifics

- the idea that reiki and other symbols are eye maps, maps of eye
movements that open different neurological pathways

- Resources - this corresponded somewhat to the New Behaviour
Generator, adding in what you want and asking the unconscious to
process it. Personally I wonder how effective this is, because its
important to have actual experience of something, as the neurology of
a simulated experience is quite different from the real one
(apparently). Mind you, it seems to make sense that the unconscious
will pave the way in whatver way it can to make ready for such new
experiences/resources using this method. Dick made the very
interesting observation in this section, about co-dependency, that
a couple dynamic can be based on each person looking in the other
for the resources they are missing in themself. Therefore if you
integrate into yourself that which you find in the other, then
interdependency arrives rather than co-dep.

- timelines - the usual ideas, explained rather well, with the past
out to one side/front, and the future to the other (forming a V)
described as 'boomerang time' and being a good basic layout, I agree,
mind you the timeline I started the workshop with was similar to that
anyhow. Being the only experienced NLPer on the workshop my timeline
was the only one remotely organised at the beginning, all the others
were higgledy piggledy zig zags!!!. My own personal idiosyncracy was
that my future went fine for a few months and then abruptly rose
sharply like the side of a mountain. I asked Dick about this and he
asked if i saw the future as a bit of an uphill struggle, which I do,
in terms of getting the money together to do the NLP training I want
to do, pay for my naturopathy treatment, go travelling etc etc.
Anyway, felt much better when I straightened it out

- a trance to update our self-image
this was explained as a fliter through which we code our experiences
of others, affecting our relations with them, acting from the
unconscious blueprint of the person we perceive ourselves to be.
Therefore the instruction to the unconscious is to prepare a
self-image that is based on the current person we are, rather than on
an old imprint. I got some wild pictures during this one, however
once again they were all about sex, and none about self-image. That
reminds me, I did have one clear answer from my unconscious, towards
the end of the workshop. I had been having very little imagery and
deep trances, unlike the others and wondered why. back came the
answer - because my conscious mind is too much of a self-saboteur
therefore my unconscious chose to do the processing entirely outside
of conscious awareness. Thus sexual imagery would be a jolly good way
to distract my conscious mind, knowing me as well as I do. See, its
dead clever my unconscious mind! :)

- one principle that was repeatedly stressed was that our beliefs
create our physiology, all of it - therefore all health is governed
by beliefs and unprocessed 'stuff'. You know, open files on the
computer screen that clog up and slow and distort the general
activities of the computer. Therefore processing by acknowledging
whatever Ks or Vs etc come up, allows them to release and move on,
thus facilitiating healing

- my personal experience was that I felt the trances WERE indeed
prmoting change in me, the processing I have been through this
weekend has been incredible, REM, bizarre Ks, fascinating dreams,
flashbacks, even noticing my body feels noticeably different and the
way I hold myself when I walk, and the way I breathe have changed

- I suppose the test of all such work is - does it produce lasting
change? IE how much are the meta-programmes and core-beliefs
affected? No doubt time will tell.

Anecdote - at the start of the workshop I told Dick of 10 years ago
when I was trained in past-life trance work by a woman in Dorset, I
left this because it was too ungrounding. QH has explained to me the
missing elements of that particular training, like Bandler and
Grinder told Milton what he was doing, QH explained to me what i was
doing when I did the past-life work, so now I reckon I can go back to
using trances again, although past-life work is not an interest
anymore. Anyhow, the bizarre bit is that during one QH trance I had to
get up and walk about, went into the next room, stood by the window
and was wobbling about, then walked around and found myself in front
of the bookshelf, where my eye was immediately drawn to a book
WRITTEN by the woman who taught me past-life trance work. She had
published NO books when I knew her and this one was only 4 yrs old
anyhow. I read the biog, it was her, described her life and family,
that I knew at the time.

How do you apply QH?

After sufficient training you trance people out, get their
unconscious to process beliefs behind different health goals and
explain to them about personal responsibility for one's own
existence. QH is NLP admitting that it is magic in the sense of
making things happen that you want to happen, controlling one's own
life. I don't know how prevalent this attitude is in any other branch
of NLP? From what I hear of DHE sounds like ti could be good to
combine QH and DHE, and that's where I'll be heading

any questions, you know where to find me

the three QH booklets that explain the philosophy and some of the
processes are very cheap and can be got through me or through Dick
Harbers. I have to tell you that currently he is not up to date with
his internet payments and therefore no longer E active, so if you
want any, I'm yer man

the ego/spirit connection
the positive purpose of your negative emotions
the purpose and mechanism of meditation

as I said the above is not a complete description of the workshop by
any means, merely my summary from the point of view of a tranced out
workshop victim

see ya later

I'm sure there are other NLPers out there applying this, Bandler
himself of course
