Fellow change agents, pioneers & visionaries lend me your attention
(conscious or unconscious). I NEED YOUR HELP!!
I am attempting to sponsor a PhotoReading weekend intensive course
here at the college (probably not in a classroom but a more neutral
site).
HERE IS THE CHALLENGE:
1) I am not proficient with PhotoReading yet. Very slow and I have
not thus far disciplined myself to develop a well-formed outcome.
//time passes........... Ok...I've written out the well-formed outcome.
2) The Corporate President is resistant to investing in this teaching
technology because she is sadly disappointed with the results from
the last "Accelerated Learning" venture. The College purchased "The
Learning Machine" from Zygon. She expected it to revolutionize
education as we know it. Now, she sees PhotoReading as having the
same appeal with the same "outrageous claims." She wants to see some
proof that it works and wants to know how we can interest our
students in it.
3) Most of the people I talk to here are less than enthusiastic about
this project. They want to see some results.
HERE IS WHAT I HAVE DONE:
1) I've begun to educate myself about PhotoReading...read the book,
listened to some tapes. Haven't taken the course. Also, haven't
ruled that out.
2) I've contacted Learning Strategies Corporation and I'm working
with a couple people there to advise me and feed me material.
3) I've circulated literature and a video about photoreading.
4) I've promoted the concept to everybody I talk to.
5) I've built dreams...told them what they may achieve with this.
I've painted a mental picture of a future with PhotoReading.
HERE IS WHAT I NEED FROM YOU ALL LEARNED NLP LISTOYENS.
1) Testimonials about successes with PhotoReading. Make sure you
include in your signature all those meaningful titles, degrees,
honoraria, affiliations, etc.
You might want to expound on the concept that learning the process
from a book is not as effective as learning it in a seminar/workshop.
(for non-NLP Practitioners that is).
2) I need some advice on what kinds of strategies one might use to
raise the level of awareness and receptiveness in the key players
here. Tell me what you would do to effect change in an "old
thinking" organization.
THANKS FOR CONTRIBUTING
I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to my request.
Stay Well
Patrick

LESSON 1
A wizard exists in all of us. This wizard sees and knows everything!
The wizard is beyond opposites of light and dark, good and evil,
pleasure and pain.
Everything the wizard sees has its roots in the unseen world.
Nature reflects the moods of the wizard.
The body and the mind may sleep, but the wizard is always awake.
The wizard possesses the secret of immortality.
