All states are trance states, just different or "altered" states. It seems
that different brain waves patterns allow access in different ways to
different parts of the neurology. Most Western cultures tend to live
in Beta Brain wave patterns most of the time, so for them Alpha
is an altered state.

It's simply a mechanism is required to go from Beta (assuming that you
generally live consciously in Beta) to Alpha and then Theta. The brain only
resists, if the need to go through Alpha is not respected - abd then it
resists for good ecological reasons. However, it can flip from Theta to
Beta, which is why we often forget our dreams.

Yes, in Theta you can access auras, visions, guardian angels, etc. These
are not usually experienced in the Western culture because most people
are in Beta, therefore have no conscious access to that part of their
neurology which can given them access to all this amazing information,
ans is therefore often labelled as superstitious bunkim!

Just wait till you can also consciously access Delta!!!
