Dear Rien,

We elicited a Model of Excellence (MOE) one time from 40 top
trainers (not motivational presentors however) but people
from public and private sector corporate human resource divisions.

The MOE Trainer's meta program profile indicated particular
strengths in the following:

MOTIVATION - Towards Positive
Oriented towards positive outcomes. Demonstrate initiative.
Capable of making quick decisions. Tend toward playfulness
and mischievousness which are traits of creativity.

FEEDBACK RESPONSE - Internal
Base their choices on how they respond to situations. Tend to
make subjective judgments. Sensitive to others.

RELATIONSHIPS - Other
Understand by stepping into the shoes of another and
perceiving through the others' eyes and ears. When learning
a new task they step into the new learning by perceiving it
from the first person present tense.

LEARNING - Form to Content
Learn by getting the concept first and deriving the details
later. Learn through experiences. Tend toward abstractions
and are able to grasp concepts easily.

TIME MANAGEMENT - Present and Future (weighting on both)
Live in the present and are spontaneous. Adjust to new
situations quickly and tend to change their mind to correspond
with ongoing situations.
Understand themselves in relation to how they would like to be
in the future. Good at setting goals and keeping to them.

Trainers scored high on each of these dimensions with the
exception of the Time Management Meta Program where they
scored roughly equal on present and future orientation.
By the way, this also means that they are not particularly
contextual in their meta programs.

We use our MMSS (McClendon Meta Systems Survey) which is a
computerised personality assessment survey that measures
meta programs and their strength. The above brief descriptions
are copyright from our Interpretations of Scores Sheet.
However, I included the descriptions to ensure that you
understood our use of meta programs which is based on
Leslie Cameron-Bandler's original work into the area.

Remember when modelling, meta programs are only one of the
areas to take into consideration. Other aspects include the
values, beliefs, physiology and cognitive processing of the
MOE trainer.

Kasrynne Huolohan
