You can't. At least, not successfully. (It's analagous to making a left
handed person into a right handed person... Sure the person may end up being
able to use their right hand for things, but the cost in mental confusion
isn't worth it, IMHO).
What you *can* do, is change your way of teaching a KAV (if you are a VAK
teacher). Or, you can learn what your needs for learning are (if you are a
KAV learner).
