I may be off on a tangent, however, most of the techniques
that appear VAK oriented in NLP, can also be used in other
ways. For example, the often referred to "Phobia Cure" -
V/K Dissociation is only one way to work with phobias.
You can also do a K/K Dissociation and an A/K Dissociation.
Likewise the SWISH which is very visual. You can do what
we enjoy calling a SWOOSH (auditory Swish) and a SWASH
(kinesthetic Swish). This kind of flexibility is attainable
in most of the NLP skills and techniques. (McC&A develop
this flexibility at our Master Prac program - just a quick
promotional plug!)
We also do a technique titled, "Resequencing Sensory System
Preferences" to really develop your behavioural flexibility!
