I guess I have been more subtle than I intended. My post was not meant as
a metaphor. I am saying that there is a genie in each one of us. Whether
we are aware of it, or not. Metaphors and allegories are used to describe
that which is indescribable. Substitute the word
<color><param>ffff,0000,ffff</param>archetype</color> if it pleases you.
Those who prefer can use <italic>psycho babble</italic> and insert the
proper level of consciousness they feel comfortable with. Religous folk
can use
<color><param>8080,0000,8080</param>God</color>,<color><param>0000,ffff,0000</p
aram>
Buddha</color>, <color><param>0000,8080,8080</param>Allah</color>, the
<color><param>ffff,0000,0000</param>Christos</color>, etc.
If you are not aware of the genie, how could you possibly
<color><param>0000,8080,0000</param>know</color> whether or not, "it got mad at
you". You might want to <italic>be more concerned with what you command
<color><param>8080,0000,8080</param>IT</color!

got involved with NLP, to learn a better, more effective way to design the
linguistics to make my commands bring me the results I want. I believe the
genie produces states in !
it's master, then the master can generate the results it wants in the physical
world by the virtual power of those states. Be careful what you pray for.
There seems to be an S&M effect involved here. There is always that
master/slave complex at work. If you are not the <italic>master</italic>.....?
One more consideration. If the purpose of neuro linguistic programming is to
learn to program the results you want..., what exactly is it that you are
designing the programs to do their work in? Is the computer your body...?
