the old "TM" type meditating is a good way to stifle
the conscious from interrupting.

When I've tried the 'stopping the world techniques' as taught in NLP (Grinder,
Don Juan etc) the amount of internal Auditory Tonal becomes reduced for that
period of time.
However since learning Transcendental Meditation 2 weeks ago my internal
dialogue is hardly noticeable during the day. The effects follow through and I
feel so much more relaxed and energized.
I think TM and NLP are a perfect compliment to each other.
Apparently Tad James was a teacher of Transcendental Meditation which is
interesting.
Anyone else do TM here?
